What does everyone need to know about Energy Healing? Well, it’s effective and works. The end.
It really is that simple. But sometimes people want to know more about energy healing, and why I combine it with my coaching services for long-lasting results.
What is Energy Healing?
Energy healing can be described as relaxation technique that helps release stress & promote your body’s natural healing abilities. Yet it is so much more.
As kids, we learned Albert Einstein’s famous equation, E = mc2, which proved to scientists that energy and matter are expressions of the same universal thing. In other words, energy is everything. And energy healing is directing higher vibrational energy that is all around us to bring about the body’s natural healing abilities on all levels: mental, emotional, physical and spiritual.
There are various methods or types of energy, or vibrational, healing: Reiki, theta, sound, music, crystal, Healing Touch, acupuncture, homeopathy, flower essences, Chakra healing, and numerous other ancient methods. I use a combination of methods that I’ve been trained in to provide the best results based on each individual client’s needs.
Getting to the Root Cause
Energy healing is an ancient healing practice that’s been in existence for thousands of years. Unfortunately modern medicine, pill popping and other “quick fixes” that have been in existence for relatively short periods of time, are prevalent nowadays. And most times they don’t address the root cause, the energetic underlying, of what is causing a person’s mental or physical ailments. It will continue to show up, or worsen, until the root cause is healed.
I tend to work with people that have energetic distress, as I like to call it. In the fast-changing, uncertain and often turbulent times we live in, most people are experiencing distress. It’s energetic distress because it’s affecting one or more levels of the body in a subtle yet powerful way. It causes imbalances within us and challenges in our lives.
The levels of the body I’m referring to are:
the mental body or mind (those thoughts that seem never ending at times),
the emotional body (think of emotions as energy in motion),
the physical body (where the slowing and blocking of energy flow creates denseness, discomfort and disease, or dis-ease…when the body is no longer ‘at ease’), and
the spiritual body (your connection to something larger than yourself which varies by individual; it could be God, Spirit, the Universe, Nature, Higher Power, Intuition, Life Purpose, Passion, Love, etc.)
Energy Healing effectively works on all of these levels. It is a holistic approach to complete wellbeing and wellness, and can complement any current treatment plans you are following.
The Benefits of Energy Healing
Since Energy Healing works on the whole body, we see benefits in all areas. Commonly reported benefits of energy healing include decreased pain, ease of muscle tension, improved sleep & improved mental clarity. Additional benefits include:
It’s safe and non-invasive.
Promotes natural self-healing processes.
Clears toxins from the body.
Increases energy.
Relaxes the body and mind.
Relieves stress.
Soothes anxiety and distress.
Promotes feelings of calmness and wellbeing.
Reduces overthinking.
Promotes a focused, peaceful and positive outlook.
Releases worry and replaces it with a sense of safety and comfort.
As you can see, Energy Healing promotes your overall health, is an excellent form of preventative care, and can help support your journey to wellness if you experience stress, anxiety, headaches, muscle or joint pain, chronic illness, poor sleep, tension or other challenges.
Life Changing Results
I’ve found Energy Healing is beneficial for anyone who’s looking for relaxation and natural relief of emotional, mental and physical ailments. It’s especially useful for people who have a large amount of stress, and can’t seem to turn off their mind from work or worry. Once you being to feel better, the possibilities for life changing results come next.
You experience relief in one area, and then notice other issues have resolved as well, without much focus or effort on your part. I’ve helped many clients whose initial complaint was a physical issue, like chronic headaches or migraines.
After the physical pain lessened or completely resolved, usually very quickly, they reflected back on other areas of their lives had improved as we continued to work together. Things like performance at work, self-confidence, emotional wellbeing and feeling more empowered.
Personally in my previous Corporate HR career, I experienced a large amount workplace stress that led to a physical illness. I credit Energy Healing as the catalyst for my disease going into a remission. And for experiencing stress reduction and hope again. It created the space where I could breathe easy again, start taking my power back and plan for a pivot in my career.
Going from HR to being a Life Coach, I now help hard-working professionals suffering physical and other ailments, mostly due to work stress and misaligned purpose (root cause). I use a powerful combination of Life Coaching plus Energy Healing techniques for life changing results. I find this combination to be more efficient, effective and meaningful than either practice on its own.

Have you heard the term, seen the sign in your Yoga class, or heard your friend raving about Reiki? While some may call it too Woo, I will let you know right out the gate this practice has transformed my life. But before I get too excited, let’s start from the beginning.
Reiki is a unique form of energy healing that uses Universal life force energy to positively impact the body’s energy. In fact, the term comes from the Japanese words “rei” (universal) and “ki” (life energy). It allows your body a break from the stress of life and helps find a natural state of relaxation to heal.
My journey with Reiki began during my corporate career and I was burnt out and overwhelmed with life. Fast forward 10 years, I’m now a Certified Usui Holy Fire® III & Karuna Reiki® Master Teacher and practice with my clients weekly. And thanks to the wonders of technology we can work together from the comfort of their home – energy has no boundaries and it can be practiced virtually.
What can Reiki do for you?
Reduce stress and promote relaxation
improve mood and sleep
ease physical pain
enhance the quality of your life

Far infrared heat therapy provides the therapeutic benefits of solar energy even on a cloudy day. Aside from what we can see as visible light, a large portion of the sun’s energy and benefits is in the invisible, a.k.a. the infrared part, of the spectrum.
And not like the high-frequency ultraviolet rays which can be damaging to the skin (think sunburn or skin cancer), far infrared rays don’t damage the skin. Far infrared can help us get some of the benefits of sunshine—even when we don’t have regular access to it like during long winter months.
Benefits of far infrared rays are numerous. First off, it’s a non-invasive and soothing experience – you’re likely to feel deeply relaxed during and refreshed and renewed afterwards. It can provide relief from various types of pain and discomfort, and supports muscle relaxation and increased local circulation. If used regularly it can even boost your immune system so you’re less likely to get sick.
It is an excellent therapy for promoting healing, reducing muscle soreness and soothing muscle spasms. Those with chronic conditions like rheumatoid arthritis or high inflammation can benefit greatly.
It can be a great option for anyone that wants to experience these types of benefits. Personally, I use both a far infrared sauna and an Amethyst BioMat (learn more about the Amethyst BioMat here), and have experienced an improvement in my skin, stress level, and in my chronic inflammatory condition (sarcoidosis), including a reduction in my joint and muscle pain. If I overdo it with a weekend activity or workout, I seem to recover quicker with far infrared treatments.
I also feel deeply relaxed and tend to almost fall asleep on the BioMat, and yet I feel energized afterwards. I typically use my sauna in the morning and tend to read at the same time, and it’s a great way to detox and get energized for the day.
Far infrared technology is a tool that could provide some relief for you if you have any chronic pain or chronic illness, like arthritis or low back pain, or with occasional joint and muscle stiffness or pain.
Even though it has numerous benefits, far infrared heat therapy may not be for everyone. Always check with your doctor, especially if you have any serious health conditions or are sensitive to heat or temperature change.
If it sounds like this could help you and any conditions or issues you currently have, give it a try. Far infrared heat therapy is commonplace at spas, gyms, some medical practices and other health facilities. As an energy healer, I offer Amethyst BioMat treatments during energy sessions and am a distributor for clients that want to purchase one for regular use at home.
I’ve used infrared saunas at gyms and spas in the past, felt the benefits and decided to invest in my long-term health with a small unit at home. It’s convenient and makes it easy to make sure I’m using it on a regular basis.
I love to hear about people taking charge of their own healing and the improvements and results that follow. Please share your experience with infrared heat therapy in the comments below.
Chronic pain is debilitating, and impacts every area of life – ask anyone that has it.
Not only is it a burden to your physical wellbeing, but it impacts your emotional and mental health as well. You feel different when in pain, less energetic, maybe even short-tempered or angry. For me, I felt and acted like a different person when in pain.
When I was very ill and had osteoarthritis along with other physical complications, I was miserable, but kept pushing ahead thinking one of these days I’d begin to feel better. I wasn’t happy, and definitely wasn’t enjoying life.
I had to cancel plans all the time. I couldn’t know how I would be feeling, some days were better than others, but because I couldn’t count on how I would feel, many times I just declined invitations in advance rather than cancelling last minute.
People close to me were understanding, but I did lose some close friends at the time who took my actions personally without considering what I was going through. I suppose that’s why we go are given these challenges in life, to learn and gain a clearer understanding of what’s important – and who is important – in your life.
Most people manage chronic pain through medication, just like I did initially. But it is also possible to reduce or eliminate your pain level through energy healing sessions. I wish I found energy healing sooner in my healing journey.
I suffered for almost 2 years addressing just the physical aspects of my illness, with conventional doctors, medication, etc. After only a few energy healing sessions, I began to experience a shift and after months of the energy healing combined with more holistic approach by my new naturopathic doctor, that’s when the symptoms and pain began to decrease.
Energy healing triggers the relaxation response in your physical body, releasing the energetic blocks stored in the body’s energy field, resulting in decreased stress levels and increased immune response. This is key to resolving chronic pain and other chronic issues that have manifested in the physical body over time.
And energy healing sessions balance not only the physical body, but also the emotional, mental and spiritual parts of you. It supports the body’s innate ability to heal itself and resolve imbalances on all of these levels.
It’s an integrative healing approach that looks at the whole person, including the mind, body, and spirit. The focus is on getting to the root cause contributing to chronic pain.
Another benefit of energy healing is that it can increase the efficacy of other types of healing modalities. It’s a safe complement to other types of medical and therapeutic treatments including Western medicine, Chinese medicine, herbal medicine and homeopathy.
Here’s a list of the benefits of energy healing:
Energy Healing Benefits
Many people with long-term conditions say that they have learned to “live with their pain.” During my health challenges, I thought the same.
Do you think that too many people have resigned themselves to living with pain that could be relieved? Are you one of those people? If so, maybe it’s time to pursue energy healing.
You know the saying “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” I’m a big proponent of teaching people Reiki energy healing.
Not that I don’t love providing Reiki energy sessions to my clients, those sessions are the highlights of my day. But I’m a teacher at heart and have a lot of experience in it – since my teenage years when I taught kids how to swim, to more recently training employees across the globe and now sharing my knowledge with others through my business offerings.
And I love empowering people and seeing their confidence grow. So to be able to teach you the ability to give yourself or others healing Reiki energy whenever you need it – there’s real power in that for you as the student….a lifetime of power.
Think about that for a moment. We go through life experiencing so many things that impact our energy, both positively and negatively, every day. Maybe you got into an argument with someone close to you or have a close relationship that is not going well and is ending soon. Maybe a loved one is sick, is dying, or has recently died.
Maybe you’ve been going non-stop taking care of aging parents, your kids, your spouse, pretty much everyone else but you. Maybe you’re like I was and are so career focused that you’re working crazy hours in a toxic environment and an unfulfilling job.
Sometimes even positive experiences can feel quite draining too. Have you ever been to a big event or party and had a blast while there, but felt worn out the next day and needed some alone time. I can’t be the only one.
Think about the impact these kinds of things have on you mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually – especially if you’re experiencing them day after day. At some point, if these imbalances continue without doing anything to improve them, you’ll be forced to deal with them and by then, it may be a very severe concern forcing you to act: like a serious illness, chronic disease, or other debilitating issue (heart attack, cancer, auto immune disease, depression, anxiety, etc.) that brings your life to a screeching halt.
What if you had the ability to rebalance each day, or throughout the day, to ensure optimal health and wellbeing, so that you never got to that point where it becomes a serious issue? YOU DO.
Anyone can learn Reiki energy healing. I learned Reiki energy years ago during my corporate career so I would have a tool to use for stress reduction. It worked back then when I practiced it. Just like anything else, you have to use it regularly, to make it a practice, in order to see results.
Today I practice self-Reiki every day, even multiple times each day. And during stressful times like my recent red-eye flight across country or when in physical pain from way too much walking on my still injured foot, even more frequently.
It’s a tool that’s here when I need it, and I make sure I use it to my full advantage. So, that brings me to my original question: would you be into this? Into taking a Reiki energy healing class with me?
If you’re interested in meditation, yoga, alternative health and healing, have received energy healing treatments – the answer is probably yes. And I strongly believe the answer is yes for anyone with an open mind and a desire to impact their life in a positive way, and the lives of those they love.
Students have taken my classes to reduce and eliminate stress, reduce anxiety, help with depression, rebalance and enhance their energy every day, address health problems, and help their loved ones and pets. And if your desire is to make a career out of it, you can learn all about that too.
To learn more about Reiki energy classes I provide including the different levels and what’s included in each, or if you’d like to express interest in one of my upcoming classes, find more details here.
